Producer, Director and Editor
I am a filmmaker with multiple skills in directing, producing and editing. I have been working in commercial, corporate and film projects. I accomplished a MA in Directing at MetFilm School, London, MA in Media and Communication, Rotterdam and a professional degree in post-production in RESTART, Lisbon. My thesis about "Filmmakers Presence in Documentary Films: Representation and Transmission of Memory" was published internationally by LAP LAMBERT Academic Publishing in 2016.
I am interested in female narratives, films about political and social struggles, family, and guilt. I have worked in Pinewood Studios and W5 Productions as a director and editor. My film "The Frame" was selected in several festivals in the UK and Portugal and the short film "The Order of Words" (A Ordem das Palavras) about domestic violence against women was the award winner of STOP competition against discrimination organised by the National Youth Council in Portugal (CNJ).
